10:00 am Hikes for History #2-Dinkey Creek to Pine Logging Camp

Hike Leader -Meg Tallberg

Hike Description: This is an easy to moderate 3/4 mile hike from the Dinkey Creek Store to the Pine Logging Camp.  We will wend our way thru. the forest & next to a lovely creek before arriving at the logging camp.  We will tour the camp & learn a little bit about its’ history. After returning to the store we can picnic by the creek and learn a little bit about the truss bridge that crosses the creek near the store.

Unfortunately, dogs will no longer be allowed on Hikes (Service Animals only)

Hikers should meet in the museum’s parking lot by 10:00 a.m. the morning of the hike. Please bring a picnic lunch, good shoes, sun block, face mask and plenty of water.

Hike organizers/hosts of Central Sierra Historical Society are not certified hike leaders, may not have CPR/first aid training or experience, and are not emergency trained persons.They are not responsible for your personal safety, but will do what they can to help in an emergency.
