Sierra Voices #3 Black Bart – the Gentleman Bandit
July 9 @ 1:00 am - 2:00 pm
Presentation Summary – Black Bart – the Gentleman Bandit who robbed 28 Wells Fargo stages between 1875 and 1883. Who was this masked man, how’d he do it, and what became of him? Catch this in-person Sierra Voices presentation on Saturday, July 9th at 1:00 pm. Rumor has it Black Bart might grant us a personal appearance.
Speaker – Steve Merrill, a retired Special Education teacher for Fresno County Office of Education and Harley rider, has been enthralled with history for several decades. His shelves are brimming over with history books on the Civil War, the conflicts of the Old West, Canadian history (his dad was born there and Steve lived there for 8years), Harley- Davidson history, and the history of Shaver Lake and the Sierra Nevada mountains.
