Hikes for History | Nathan Warner- Mycology (Mushroom/fungi) Hike

Hike Description: This will be an easy-to-moderate hike, 1 -3 miles in the Shaver Lake area near the museum. Join us for a safe, family-friendly mushroom identification hike centered on curiosity and learning. A mushroom identification hike focuses on learning, observation, and appreciation—not collecting or consuming. Participants will explore local habitats, study mushroom characteristics, and practice safe identification techniques while leaving all specimens undisturbed in nature.
