Friday in The Pines

Our Friday in the Pines concerts have brought our Shaver Lake community some great talent, are always fun, and continue to be FREE to the public.

The amphitheater is an ideal venue for picnicking and relaxing while enjoying great music. Chairs, blankets, food, and drinks will continue to be welcomed. 

Please note that no food or beverage vendors will be present.

About the Artist

John Pemberton has been playing music since the tender age of 5 and performing since age 10, when he and his parents began playing at venues throughout the Fresno area as a family band. A skilled guitarist and singer, Pemberton branched out on his own, getting his start as a country and gospel musician at local joints like the Red Caboose Café. Pemberton describes his style as traditional country. He performs songs popularized by artists like George Strait, Merle Haggard and Alan Jackson, and says he occasionally throws in a Blake Shelton or Luke Bryan cover.

• • Early Seating: $5 per chair. First come first serve. Stop by the Museum between 1 – 4:00 pm to purchase your early seating band and set up your chair in the amphitheater. All chairs placed before 4 pm with out a band will be removed.
