Sierra Voices #2 | My Search for Murrieta – A Lifelong Search for the Truth Behind the Murrieta Story Presented by Speaker Gary Gragnani

July 13 @ 1:00 pm 2:00 pm

Presenting: “My Search for Murrieta – A Lifelong Search for the Truth Behind the Murrieta Story”

The story of Joaquin Murrieta is both fascinating and confusing.  It has become a mixture of fact and legend that have become blurred together over the decades since he first became known in California.  I personally have over twenty-five books on the subject and untold newspaper clippings of which some have merit and many just regurgitate history to fit their agenda.  In this chapter I would like to lay out the basic story as told by many authors with variances that vary from their personal perspectives.  This chapter is also for those unfamiliar with the Murrieta story to give them a basic idea of how the story generally has been told and retold.  In later chapters I want to expand on new input uncovered in our search for the true story of Joaquin Murrieta.
