Steam-up/Powerhouse Demo #2

Beginning at 10:00 am the Sierra Steamers offer a free demonstration of a "Steam-Up", a 1905 Dolbeer Steam Donkey located in the Museum's Parking Lot. Bring the kids and let them blow the whistle. Kids of "ALL" ages will enjoy this demonstration!At 12:00 pm come witness a live demonstration in our Redinger Powerhouse, the only fully functioning demonstration powerhouse in the world on museum property that can generate electricity!

Performers: Deja Too! Returning to our Friday in the Pines Concert Series for their 3rd year we have Deja Too!  Deja Too! consists of Jim "Gumbo" Furnas on Acoustic Guitar & National Resonator, Jeff Hallock on Harmonica and Don "Hef" Heflin on Acoustic Guitar and Acoustic Bass.  They have been playing together over 19 years. Friday in the Pines #2 John Pemberton

John Pemberton John Pemberton has been playing music since the tender age of 5 and performing since age 10, when he and his parents began playing at venues throughout the Fresno area as a family band. A skilled guitarist and singer, Pemberton branched out on his own, getting his start as a country and gospel musician at local joints like the Red Caboose Café. Pemberton describes his style as traditional country.
