• Sierra Voices | Tom Fearer The Old Tollhouse Grade

Tom Fearer was introduced to highway enthusiasm by his father during the 1980s after a road trip from Detroit to Chicago via US Route 12. Tom relocated from the Midwest to Arizona in 2001 and began writing about numerous highway corridors with ties to ghost towns. Tom relocated to Florida in 2013 and would provide map drawings of the 1928 iteration of the Overseas Highway, which the Pigeon Key Museum later used.
