The Creek Fire came through our property and destroyed our horse barn, shed, and 40′ foot storage unit. Search and Rescue helped us evacuate our horses, as my husband’s horse would not trailer load. It took 2 doses of tranquilizer, but she loaded two days before the Creek Fire Storm came through. After we were able to return to our slightly damaged home, my sister organized The Hope Tree Project where family and friends donated Christmas decorations since all but two of our ornaments were lost in the fire. The response was so overwhelming, it took us two DAYS to de-decorate from all the donated items! We are blessed to have such a wonderful family and community!
