More than just a “Museum”, The Museum of the Sierra hosts dozens of events a year that bring the community together. We strive for a balanced calendar that offers education, entertainment. community building and simply, enjoyable events. 

Our events include Sierra Voices, a program of oral history  presentations where experts share their knowledge of the Sierra. 

Friday in the Pines is a very popular, free concert in our amphitheater  featuring an eclectic array of local musicians. 
other events include, The Taste of Shaver, Wine in the Woods and an ice cream social.
