Presentation Summary:
On June 10th, Michael J. Semas will present “A History of Tulare Lake”, which will focus on how the lake went from being the largest fresh-water inland lake west of the Mississippi to the most productive farmland known in modern times. Included in his presentation will be rare photos, maps and newspaper accountings of the lake, many which have never been seen before. Come join us on a journey through local history.
Speaker: Michael Semas
Michael is originally from Hanford, California. He attended local schools. Graduated from Idaho State University in 1983 with a degree in accounting Passed the Certified Public Accountants exam on first attempt. He is currently practicing accounting in Hanford.
