Powerhouse Exhibit & Operation Presented by Doug Koerper

On Saturday, September 14th Doug Koerper will discuss the construction & operation of our Redinger 1 Powerhouse exhibit. He will also discuss Southern California Edison’s powerhouse construction of tunnels & penstocks.

Doug is a Cal Poly graduate in Industrial Technology and has an extensive background in a variety of areas including manufactured cargo handling equipment, grape harvesting machines, and large metal buildings. He also has a variety of licenses including contracting, elecitrical, blasting, and logging. Over the last 40+ years, he owned an operated a heavy construction and propane pipeline business.
