Michael is originally from Hanford, California. He attended local schools. Graduated from Idaho State
University in 1983 with a degree in accounting Passed the Certified Public Accountants exam on first
attempt. He is currently practicing accounting in Hanford.
This will be an easy-to-moderate hike. Bring your binoculars, lunch, and water, and enjoy a birding hike around Shaver Lake near the museum.

The show pays attention to detail recreating the music of the iconic Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac with such songs as Dreams, Sara, Gold Dust Woman and more!
Beginning at 10:00 am the Sierra Steamers offer a free demonstration of a “Steam-Up”, a 1905 Dolbeer Steam Donkey located in the Museum’s Parking Lot. Bring the kids and let them blow the whistle. Kids of “ALL” ages will enjoy this demonstration!
Annual Pancake & Egg Breakfast Join the Museum of the Sierra for the Annual Pancake & Egg Breakfast is scheduled for Sunday, July 5th from 7:00 – 11:00 am at the Shaver Lake Community Center. Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee.

Hike Description: This will be an easy-to-moderate hike to or around. Bring your lunch and water, and enjoy hiking up near Huntington at Gold Arrow Camp.
The Museum of the Sierra is hosting an elegant concert in its outdoor amphitheater to raise funds for the museum. This concert will feature the Fresno Philharmonic, with 36 musicians performing an hour-long set of light, classical arrangements. Followed by a champagne reception.
