Steam-up/Powerhouse Demo #2

Beginning at 10:00 am the Sierra Steamers offer a free demonstration of a "Steam-Up", a 1905 Dolbeer Steam Donkey located in the Museum's Parking Lot. Bring the kids and let them blow the whistle. Kids of "ALL" ages will enjoy this demonstration!At 12:00 pm come witness a live demonstration in our Redinger Powerhouse, the only fully functioning demonstration powerhouse in the world on museum property that can generate electricity!  

Museum Nature Trail Cleanup Workday

An easy informative hike about the Mill Ponds in Shaver and the use of the flumes to transport lumber to the sawmill in Clovis.
